Description:

Get ready for a good old-fashioned knees up at the Shipley and celebrate all the fun of a fete, with a difference. The gallery will be completely transformed for the evening into a traditional summer fete with a very chic twist.

As well as an array of stalls selling everything from craft to cupcakes, visitors can have a go at winning vintage prizes on the tombola or try their luck in a special game of bingo.

Every hour on the hour why not enter the 'Best in Show' and try to scoop a prize for your bonnet making and vegetable sculpting skills.

As well as bunting and haystacks no garden fete would be complete without live music, and what better way to set the scene than Gatesheads’ very own foot stompin’, barn shakin’ Kentucky Cow Tippers. It's an evening set too make you wanting to win those fete-day prizes!
