Description:

A unique opportunity to visit Gateshead’s new space for some of the region’s most exciting creative talent. Enjoy some refreshments, get hands-on and find creative inspiration with a variety of workshops for you to join in with and try something new including:

7.15pm
A constellation workshop for filmmakers, producers and writers which enable you to develop stories in a non verbal way. Lead by Risaria Langley.

7.15pm
Make a patterned lamp to take away and keep with textile designer Kate Usher and lighting design company Aether & Hemera

7.15pm
Bring along your dream projects to learn how to design your own house or building with architect Christoph Oschatz or create your own interactive artwork using microchips and sensors lead by Aether & Hemera

Don’t miss ‘mouth to mouth' international performance collective as they present Blink an immersive theatrical experience that combines lo-fi with hi-fi technologies. Blink and you'll miss it. Please note that this performance will take place on the first floor where there is currently no wheelchair access.

In addition there’s a chance to see the work of the residents in a special one night only exhibition. Chat to the artists and designers in their own workspaces about their work, there will also be the chance to buy directly from the artists and designers.
